I thought you guys might enjoy seeing these pics. I took my dog for a hike the other day at the Kaweah River area. His name is Bear as some of you know. He will be 12 years old next month. He still acts like a puppy!

wow, that area looks beautiful/ really fun for hiking? I'd love to be there on these sunny days that we've had

Bear looks like a happy pup! I love seeing pics of people's dogs enjoying the outdoors.

How we love our dogs:thumbup:. Great pics, Ray.

That looks like a very cool place to hike in.

This area where we are standing becomes a big lake during Spring and Summer months. By late fall, it's just a small river. Now the water is starting to rise again.

Every time I visit Ray, Bear wants to play and get his back scratched. He is very active for his age, still runs around like a puppy. And when I'm there, he won't leave my side (might have something to do with the back scratches and doggie treats that I bring).

awesome pics Ray... he's a handsome dog.. my boys have been asking when we are going to camp with Bear again..:D

Nice pictures. Always happy to see dogs appreciated and well cared for.

Great shots Ray.

Here's Jake and Aiko enjoying a mid-summers morning. :D

At this point that pond is frozen solid and covered with many feet snow.

Aiko in her element.

An finally, dogs being dogs.

Nice pics! Great looking dog. I love how you can tell when they're happy. It looks like you're trekking through the Scottish highlands.

Nice Pics of Bear. You would never know how old he is by the way he acts, I always enjoy his company when I visit Ray.

Is that the section of river that you pass on the way to Kings Canyon / The BB Camping spot?

You don't pass this area when going up to the bushbash campsite. This is further up the 198 toward Sequoia NP.

Bear enjoys your company too. Actually he enjoys anyone who gives him attention.
