I'm not a maker, just a satisfied customer of one, so I thought I'd share some pics of a sheath that I just got for my Becker BK2. For those who don't know, the sheaths are hybrid - Kydex liners wrapped in leather outers. This one is modular. The pouch, firesteel loop and the Allen wrench loop that will be here shortly are all removable or can be rearranged in different positions/configurations. It's also convertible between vertical and horizontal carry. Just realized today (the 2nd day of it being in my possession) that nothing has to be reconfigured to go from vertical to horizontal, just slide it on the belt whichever way you want it.

Guess that's about it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. It's a damn fine piece. I hope you enjoy seeing it....

Thanks for noticing guys. It really is an amazing piece of aesthetic work, but it's just as functional as it is purty.

Thought I'd stop by and mention that the maker of this fine sheath, Michael Volclae, is out of Joplin, MO. Just heard the news about that 'nado yesterday. Haven't had a chance to get a hold of him to see if he's alright, but if'n you're into this sort of thing, shoot a prayer his way, and for all the people in that area. I've been working with 'nado relief efforts here in North Bama since 4/27. You can't imagine what a bitch that ol' Mother Nature can be when she gets her dander up, but she leveled more structures, as well as much of her own handiwork, than any other outbreak in Bama history last month, and it sounds like it was pretty bad in the Joplin area too.

If'n y'all are within drivin' distance, now would be a great time to put your knives and sheaths to good use. No such thing as too many volunteers in a hard-hit area like that, and it'll make you feel good just walking up a littered-with-debris driveway and asking a devastated home-owner who just lost everything if there's anything you can do to help. It's good for the soul.

I have to say, I'm not into kydex but that rig looks great and very much suits the knife. Great looking work.

Best regards
