Wanting to learn how these things work, I have been playing with some "flippers". A visit and stay with Andre Thorburn helped very much in teaching me the fundamentals of fine tuning the action. Andre has fantastic understanding of the fine details.
Since I make these by hand, just like my other knives, these mainly serve as a learning exercise. It is fun to learn something new though, I do enjoy making them.
Coop did a wonderful job representing them in the photos.
