I love simple slip-joint folders and I just got a beauty of a Barlow pattern from Ray. Maybe we can get him up here to give us the details...

Very well done, nice and clean.

Pardon my ignorance here:o, but knowing nothing about the maker, what are the specs of the folder. Steel, liners, bolster, size, scales?

Very fine craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing:thumbup::cool:

Very nice!
Just the other day, I discovered that I love barlows. :)
Got a really nice S&M barlow for my Dad last father's day, but I haven't had one myself since I was a kid with a crappy chinese one. Just got an old Wostenholm barlow, and think that might be the route I go for the first custom I get.
Congrats on a great knife! Looks beautiful, and very well put together.

Good lookin knife. Thanks for sharing that beauty:thumbup::cool:

Thanks for all the great comments on the barlow.
This knife has a premium piece of desert ironwood for slabs.
Blade is 1084 RC approx. 59.
Liners are steel with brass bolsters.
Pins are brass.
Knife measures 6-3/8" open and 3-5/8" closed.

If you would like to order one of my folders contact me at
bladesmith@infoblvd.net

I also make a large barlow in the same pattern.

Thanks for looking
Ray

Great knife, Ray. Any idea of approximate weight?

Thanks!
