Hi Folks and I know its been awhile since I posted, things have changed around here a bit and I do feel a bit like a stranger so for those of you who do not know me I am an old BF.er that love this place and making knives. well getting ready for little rock I have one dagger and one bowie done two other bowie blades ready for handles but I needed a break and just wanted to have some fun, So I decided to do something I have had rattling around in my head for some time so I took a small pice of damascus and went for it. i call this thought entrapment I think you’ll see why I really like how it came out and how it looks also once working through the bugs it goes quite smoothly tying the steel into a not to lock it all together was a challenge to not burn the stag to bad




 
Your creativity seems to know no limits Dave. Keep coming up with these innovative ideas. Well done.
 
Ya got mad skilz, Dave! I hope you have some of that new damascus pattern at Little Rock as well:)

2017 is already shaping up to be a banner year for the "Custom" forum!!!
 
Thanks a lot folks Lin come on by and look it over, when I tell you how i cut the grove you'll get a laugh. You just need a small drill press a post vice and some nerve . I look forward to seeing all the folks that a making the trip to little rock.
