My girlfriend came into a little money so she took me to my local knife dealer and said pick yourself a SOG knife (she knows how much I love those SOGs) :D

I wanted a fixed blade and all that they really had that appealed to me was the Sog Tech 1, Tech 2, Tigershark and Tsunami. I already have a Tsunami and the Tigershark is really big, so I looked at the Sog Tech knives.

I got the very last Sog Tech 1 they had, which I thought was really great as it was discontinued so this is technically a "collectable" now :)

I love my SOGs, and my girlfriend :D

The SOG Tech I & II are beautiful knives! I've always loved them. I've always liked the classic lines; the contrast of the black Kraton handles, brass cross guard, and satin finished blade; and thick 1/4" black stock. Ooooo! :)

The Tech II has been discontinued now for two or three years and the Tech I was just discontinued earlier this year.

If you're ever looking for some Tech IIs, I know where you can get three, but they're very expensive at about $179 a pop on this side. The same dealer also has the SOG Jet Edge models which were discontinued as well if I remember correctly.
 
The SOG Tech 1 is a very nice, well-made knife, and it's a damn shame that it was DC'd...Good SCORE!.:).

BTW...Does your girlfriend have any sisters?.:D.:D.
 
Hey Andre was your knife purchased at Sharp Edge Sharp Shooter?

What is their selection like these days?
