Chuck,

You should recognize your handiwork in the first photo.

Chuck, you wrote:
You had me scared for a second there. :D
To be honest, I was scared, too, when I found that the "Single Barrel" was empty. :grumpy:

Then, I remembered that I picked up the bottle of Maker's Mark, so all is well in the world this evening.

I'm more a single malt scotch kinda guy myself, but I wouldn't turn down a glass of either of those if offered ;)

I had a bottle of hte 100-yr old (or was it 75? Or 50 - a long time anyhoo) Jack. I wound up looking at it for 2 years and then giving it to my dad. LOL Hand-signed by the main guys at JD and everything. Just not my drink of choice.

I've got a bottle of Gentleman Jack and a bottle of Chivas. I think I've had 2 glasses of each. I'm not a hard-spirits kinda guy. Oh well. Guests love me for it. (I got both bottles as gifts so no skin off my nose.)

Could we get a shot of the SAR4 in Chuck's sheath ?

Looks sweet.

It's good to see someone else enjoys fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky instead of that horse urine from across the pond!!!

Drink American!!!

Love those Punkin cutters.

Hey! I had one of those!:)

And then my Deputy, a USAF test pilot, was called overseas and into danger. Probably not hard to guess what happened to that bottle, hmm?:D

I love whiskey, but don't love the hangover, not one bit. For that reason, I shifted gears to vodka a few years back. Makes the next morning much easier to navigate. :)

Once you get up in years and hangovers don't just ruin your morning but a couple days you learn which liquors hurt and which don't hurt as much. Bourbon with a little spring water on the side seems to keep me from wanting to slit my wrists in the morning so I stick with that. I've learned to never drink Tequila unless I carry bail money...

For Bourbon I prefer Pappy Van Winkle 20 or George T. Stagg at ~140 proof. It is surprisingly smooth.

nice goods Ken, and killer photos as ususal. ;) the ones of it with the sheath are great.

oh, and, mmmmmmmmmm Bourbon.

Lunde.......LET'S DRINK!!!!!!!!!!!

I have an unopened bottle of JD Single Barrel that's been hibernating in my storage unit for about 15 years....maybe more if memory serves me correctly. I can't wait to crack her open. I have a feeling she's going to put me on my ass after the first few rounds!!!!
