What are some great knife combinations that you love to carry into the woods with you?

Mora All-around and a Victorinox Fieldmaster. Or a Fieldmaster and a full sized carbon steel trapper pattern slip-joint. Two of my favorite combo's.

I've always said that if you have a Junglas and an Izula, you've got all your bases covered. But I don't carry an Izula, I generally have the Junglas and the 5. I know its kinda silly, with the Junglas the 5 becomes more than necessary (as a secondary, small task knife) but its what I have. So, its what I carry :-)

Next time I go out, ill probably go with the Junglas and a folder :-)

Becker BK9 & Gerber Metolius.

Really, thats a loaded question---sooooo many good choices.

Condor Viking and Bush Knife.

Tapanga and Rodan

Mora Bushcraft Force, Opinel Folding Saw, Victorinox Farmer

Depending on what I'm doing, either of these two:

will go well with this one:

(or with a BK14).

This is more of a camping trio, if I'm going backpacking I would swap the leatherman for a Buck 301 (full-sized stockman).

for me its a esee6 on my belt, junglas on the pack, esee3 in the pack for food prep. or cr green beret on the belt, nyala in the pack for camp chores and junglas still on the pack. usually a pocket knife of some kind and a multi tool on my pack as well.

wouldnt the izula be better for food prep and be a lot less weight?

i actually like the blade length of the 3 better for food prep, the izula is a great knife the 3 is just handier size for me.

BryFry, Junglas looks sweet without the coating. Can't wait till mine wears out so much that it will warrant me to just strip it off- time to go hack some wood this weekend.

My knife status changed unexpectedly since this afternoon. The Bushlore is new, but I think that is safe to say that I will love taking it into the woods.
