Lycosa, I do think a slab of G-10 will work depending thickeness.

ick--- Thanks for the input. I'm talking to Potterma and thinking about this one. I will lose the double Detent if I go this route.

yes a solid slab of G10 will work great. As far as the double detent its insurence not a necessity.

I see your trying to emulate the HD-7 with less weight, you be sneaky
