Sharpening - I just use my Spydie 204 Sharpmaker. Talonite's a relatively soft material (approx 48 Rc) so you can keep the edge crisp with this. Diamonds will work too but IMHO it puts a more aggressive edge to it.

No edge geometry problems to speak of. The Talonite EDC is just a cuttin' machine! Excellent factory piece!

Never had a problem with my Talonite EDC. I just give it a couple swipes on my Sharpmaker whenever it needs it.

Damn you guys are making me jealous, i ordered my Talonite EDC a week ago and cant wait for it to get here. ;)

Sure, I'll fourth the nomination!!

I've had one for about 8 months, and it's been excellent. Sharpmaker seems to be the way to go, but it stays pretty darn sharp for a long time.

This is certainly one of those "bang for the buck" knives, I'll think you'll be pleased!

Good Luck.

Thanks Dex.., Buzzbait.., et.al. (i.e., everyone).., I've never fussed around with any Talonite yet.., and wondered if I had to do anything "Special"....

Great little knife!!

I appreciate the help.....Thanks!!
