Hi This Is My First Post Have Been A Lurker For A Good While.my Question Regards The Myerco Blackie Collins Tactical Survival Knife. What Is Your Opinion On It, I Am Looking At It To Add To My Other Survival Users. If Anybody Has One Or Handled It Could You Tell Me Is It Stout Enough For Light Chopping Battoning Etc.i'll Probably Get It Anyway Unless Someone Can Give Me A Good Reason Not To.in Advance Thanks.

Welcome!
It looks pretty crappy to me, and has low grade steel. But, if you buy it at least you wont be out much $.

If it's true that Meyerco products are now made in China, I'd skip it.

I have two Meyerco knives, a Rascal assisted opener and a Speed Demon lockback. Both are made with AUS-8 steel. The Speedster is made in Japan; the Rascal doesn't say. The build quality is fair. No regrets about buying, especially the Speed Demon that was $6.99 on closeout.

Best Wishes,
Bob
