Today I became a Buck knife owner. By a stroke of good fortune I have a 303 LE1 with beautiful Sambar Stag scales. I have 2 questions:

1. The Buck Knives web site says this is a limited edition knife. How many were produced & when? OK that's 2 questions, but you catch my drift, right?

2. The tang stamp, apart from the BUCK & U.S.A. also has 303 followed by what looks like a "T" on it's side. It could be "-1" but under a lens it definately looks like a single stamped character. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

David
