Some help please.

If someone could help me date this Trapper I would be grateful. Also, what steel and scale material might it be? On the latter my hope is buffalo, but I'm no expert on the subject.

The scale material is black delrin and the blades are most likely 420 HC Stainless

Thank you, Rick. Any idea of date? I don't know if it's possible to even define a window for Camillus folders.

Thank you Greyelm. We see very few Camillus knives of any provenance over here in the UK and your link has enabled me to add at least a date window to all 3 of mine.

As always the people on this forum are willing to help & know what they're talking about.

I'm UK based and started my serious Camillus collecting about 3 years ago before the factory closed. Prices on Ebay were low then and before the crash the pound was strong against the dollar (not any more). I've managed to put together over 100 of various styles and ages with a dozen or more of the 4 line ww2 engineers pocket knives (bone handle scout style). With the demise of the factory my collection has gone up in value so I'm happy for that but sorry that the factory is no more and an era has ended in the village of Camillus NY.
