Some help with converting

Hello

THis is my first post so hello.
Now for the knife stuff.
I am looking at the Schrade button lock folders and want to buy one to convert into an auto.
I know that Boker are not completely milled for accepting the spring etc but does anyone know if the Schrade ones are? I can not seem to find any info on this.
I asked CRKT if their "tighe tac" button lock knife was pre-milled and only needed a spring and they told me they were not sure.
I just want a couple of button lock knives that I only need add the spring to get them auto.

Can someone who has done this or taken apart these Schrades tell me if they are pre-milled and any other knives that are pre-milled ready for the spring?

Welcome aboard. I hope you find some answers, but unfortunately I will not be able to help beyond saying that this should be posted in Maintenance and Tinkering. I will be requesting this moved for you.

That being said, if you live in a state that does not allow autos, this may fall into a grey area of the law (or worse). Just a word of caution about stating or posting what state you live in, if they are indeed illegal.

I will just add that in England autos are legal, just not to sell or import so in kit form it is fine, or if I convert it is too.
I already have a Cold Steel paradox i converted with a dremel but i would like some autos.
