Got the chance to get away for a few days to a family reunion, back where I grew up.. It sure was beautiful there compared to the heart of the city where i am now.

Here's a few from the back yard where I spent most of my preteen years

here's my boy on the screen porch modeling his new batman shades

Not Nec Survival oriented, but some nice views, I thought I'd share.

Cute kids and lovely scenery. Leaves are turning all sorts of purty colors. That's one thing I'm gonna miss now that I've moved back to the land of pine and swamp.

 Great pictures.

Have you thought about moving back to the country?

Looks like some beautiful country and a great place to grow up and play in the woods

:) This image alone is why the city ain't no place for a country boy. :)

Beautiful pics! I know you really wish you could go back. Heck I wish I could back to Minnesota.

Just where is this place? Looks like it could be somewhere Upstate NY. Lots of people don't realize how nice Upstate really is.

Nice pics John, I know I don't have to tell you that you can still work in the city and live in the country. There are plenty of places with in 1.5 hours of NYC that have those beautiful views. Not to mention if you move way up the line, we won't see eachother anymore. :(

Wait, that sounded a little ghey didn't it.. Lets try; we won't be able run around in the woods together, or who's gonna be my bush buddy? Um....this ain't working. You know what I mean.. :p
