Just playing around with some different fabrics. Not sure how they will turn out but it looks pretty cool so far.

Lookin' good! What fabrics are those? I think kevlar would be the bees knees, not cheap though.

I have no idea what the fabrics are. I just pick them up at a local fabric shop.

is that green? can't wait to see how it turns out...

man, if i see green slabs on a BT4 recurve then I'm thinking something will have to go to the pawnbay soon...

Dang dude, that bottom one looks like the shirt you had on in Atlanta.

I wouldn't be shocked if ban gave the shirt off his back to persue his passion of knife making ;)

Ahhh...he is too good at it, there something wrong if ban can't be make a little dough with his knives!! :D:thumbup:

How do these burlap material feel when wet? Does it get tacky like standard canvas micarta?

Yes, it is tacky and pretty much stays that way even when wet.

I think the bottom one would look awesome with thick black g-10 (or similar) liners. ;)

Do you stack the fabric in any particular "pattern"? You know, do you line it all up, stagger, or switch it up in any way? Or does that depend on the intented shape of the handle scales, and the desired effect?
