I was sitting on the computer earlier browsing the interwebs for customized Hinderers and got inspired to make something for my own XM. I decided to make a scale out of some black/orange G10 I had. Since I just ordered a brown G10 scale, I figured I could use the black one I have now as a template and if it gets a little messed up, I have the new one on the way. So, I got my trusty Dremel out and all the bits and accessories and got to work. I took some pictures of the process and the end result. Let me know what you guys think. I think it turned out alright considering the only tool I used was a Dremel. No drill press, no band saw etc. It fits pretty damn well but has a few slight imperfections. I might be giving it (the scale NOT my XM
) away in the future so look out for that.
