3 I found today in a misc. box at the Gun & Knife show. Black one is a Rodgers, the barlow is an Olster - don't know anything about them other than I like the looks of them. The Case is a 6318 CV.

I like barlows. One of my hobbies is metal detacting and I find lots of rusted barlows in farm yards. Seems farmers like them also.

Are you collecting or are you going to carry them?

The barlow is a little rough and has a partial crack on the other side, so I will probably just clean it up and display it. The other two I will probably carry some.

The Rogers looks like it might be a Loomfixer pattern.
Any thoughts??

This is a Case Loomfixer.

I've been looking around for one, that's why I noticed the shape on the Rogers.
Anybody else have an opinion?

Either way, nice knives, no doubt!

Keep Care,

Pappy

Looks to me that you found and chose very well.
I have enjoyed looking at all three.

When you say "a little rough," what do you mean? Just the problem with the handle? If (as I'm guessing) it's an Ulster, not an Olster, should be a pretty good grade of carbon steel on it. Might be cool to have someone throw on some new delrin or even bone or stag handles and put that knife back into use! Might just make for a VERY solid - and unique - user.

I was just thinking the same
Might be a fun project to make some nice wooden scales for it, and use it.
