hey guys,
i'm a cluebie, and was surfing the web trying to figure out what liner-lock knives were. i stumbled upon this page: http://pw1.netcom.com/~brlevine/liners.txt which IMO has some good info about the history and whatnot of linerlocks. i would print the text here, but i don't know if i'll get in trouble or not. later.

Hi Andy,

Welcome to BF. You happened upon the site of someone who many consider (myself included) the most knife-knowledgeable person on the earth.

Mr. Levin has a forum here at Blade Forums, is a prolific writer and has regular articles in many of the major knife publications.

I think that what you found was as good a discription of the Liner Lock as you will find.
By the way, welcome to the forums, it's great to have you aboard.
