Some info on this Busse Please

Hey,

Was digging through older sale threads a while back and saved this pic with the intention of asking about the knife. I can't remember who's photo (or sale thread) I yanked this pic from - Otherwise I'd be asking them instead of all of you!

Looks like a SOW / SFNO variant - but my question is....why is it gold coloured?

Is that a trick of the camera? Weird flash / lighting? Or some sort of gold metallic finish on the blade?

I'm sure this is a totally n00bish question and I'm probably identifying myself as a fool right now, so please be nice!

The Satin finish of the blade most likely picked up the color through reflection.

Lighting probably caused the gold color, it is the original offering of the SOW.

Pretty sure that is a regular SOW variant. I don't recall any of them being made with a gold finish. I think there was a HOG induction knife from maybe 2006 (?) that had a gold finish. That's the only one I've seen or heard of. That doesn't mean there aren't others though.

It is a SOW but the gold tint might be because of the lighting or camera setting when the pic was taken.

Original un-shoped pic:

The colour / lighting on all the other knives look completely normal. Thats why I wondered if it might be something else. Then again, none of the others are satin - so it's still likely it's just the flash / reflection / lighting.

I just found it very curious!

Two of my own SOWs, just for fun!

Note I only have the non-solid gold edition. Less valuble but much more reliable in CQC!!!

Where did you get the snakeskin and mag tigerhide? I don't think I've seen those before.

It's the only satin blade in the whole picture, so it is the only blade showing a reflection. The MOASH and Mojo variant are double-cut which is why their finish is non-reflective in comparison.
