Hey ; l was wondering if any of you fine gentlemen; could provide me with some information on Robert Parish knives. I own a Hollow Handle Combat Survivor with an 8 inch 440c blade made by Mr. Parrish in 1986. I bought it second hand.at a Pawn.shop in South Carolina in 2010. This one has a compass embedded in the butt cap. I was wondering if this was a feature that Mr. Parish added in his knives when he sold them. Or did the previous owner of the knife add the compass on his own ? Bottom line : were the Robert Parrish Hollow Handle knives supplied with compasses in.the butt cap or.not ?
Oh ; and one more thing : a friend of mine said that Mr. Parish made some.of the Survivor models in D2 . But as far as l know they were all.made in 440c. Can some one shed some light on this ? I appreciate the help.
