Some Interesting Aesthetics

ooh thats pretty. Kind of like the swirls in stainless plate you find in the automotive industry and firetrucks

Yup your right some companies out there do it for gun parts but also do it on knife pocket clips, and some blades, I saw a link to a site like that a while back, plus this place had colors avaliable too! they used spydercos as examples maybe someone could post a link...

WOW! When I first saw them, I thought they were heavily dimpled. I had to read the "How they are made" section to make sure. That is a nice looking effect. The fact that they harden their knives to Rc58-60 is very alluring too. I wonder how thin the edge is on those French Chef Knives?

Thanks for sharing this! I have to bookmark that site. I may have to add one to my block.:)

440C? They mention it in the wood carving section. One is D2 @ 60, the other 440C @ 58-60, which is what the others are advertised at.

Thanks for that jeweling link , I love what they do to all steel handles.
I love the look of brushed steel but it mars and scratches so easily.

Yeah, I was thinking about getting a pocket clip jeweled but for $15...I might just save up for another knife, lol...
