Some Knive Help Please

Alright Ive made up my mind and I am going to get a Strider Knife, I was thinking about getting the RC. The only problem right know is that every other knife I have had has been a tanto point. So my question being is which Knife point is better ? And to put in my mind I might be joining the navy soon.

I personally do not care for tanto point knives. I prefer drop point blades, and clip points. But, like I said, it is a personally preferernce. I just have no use for a tanto.
 
To tell you the truth I have had both for years and I don't see much of a difference in cutting ability or penetration. The only difference is blade grind angle as far as I am concerned. The RC is a great knife and will serve you well; enjoy!
