You'll notice that one the newer Operator 575's and Operator 425's, the swedge is either baby size or not there at all. This is because of various legislation around the world. Many states and countries currently have laws against knives with swedges. Since I ship knives all over the world, it was necessary to stop doing them. A buddy of mine actually got in trouble in his state due to the swedge on his knife and he didn't know there was local legislation against it. KNOW YOUR LOCAL LAWS. Trust me, gubment don't care if "you didn't know" or not. They bust you just the same.

It's desert tan, so just about cream color. The speckled one is Great Barrier Reef Corian. ......so yes, kitchen counter. lol.
