How about a polished titanium sebenza with silver twill carbon fiber, or all sandblasted and stonewashe with lightning strike carbon fiber? Maybe some mokuti, or mokume gane (sp)?
 
Mokume gane, which is Japanese for wood grain metal, is like a damascus made of copper, brass, nickel, and has a brass, copper like raindrop look. Used mostly for bolsters as it is too soft for blades. It would work as an inlay, but since it is metal, it would give no grip like wood or micrata. Here is a picture of one of my knife's Mokume:

That'd look so good inlaid into a seb with the polished handle and blade
