Sorry about the picture quality, it's the best my camera and PC can muster. My beloved Tritha BAS. My old Kami Kumar R-4 knife. And the awesome Tritha 18 inch Foxy Folly! The BAS and R-4 are pretty much standard HI blades. BAS is tough as nails, my hiking pack knife. But this Foxy Folly is something else! Big, wide, razor sharp. The strange part is when you chop with it, it "rings." My BAS did not come with sound effects, not sure why the Foxy makes this ringing sound. I've heard of khukuris speaking to their owners, but this one sings, literally! Maybe just reminding me to keep my fingers clear of it's path, for it would surely remove them with little effort. I'll post camping pics as soon as I get them downloaded. Neem handle, 18 inches in length, 3 inches from edge of blade to spine (width.) Not sure of the weight, lighter than it looks, but still has very good heft to it. Chopping results and more pics to follow.

Thanks. I still can't figure out why the Foxy Folly rings when struck. None of my others do that, must have something to do with the steel used.

There were old posts about the melodic side of Foxy.
Thin spine with the fullers maybe?
