Okay, heres my pics
The Booth
Part of Team Busse slumming in the back alley.
Voracious and KAAK (till slumming in the alley)
Dinner at Fogos
And of course, how I got my bike home.
My journey home:
I left Atlanta early Saturday morning, while you where all still recovering from the previous evening. Everything was wonderful
till I went to pull off for gas east of Clarksville Tenn. Whack, whack, whack, whack, whack, whack
.
(Oh $hit !!)
I coasted into a gas station, let it cool a bit and started it again, same bad noise.
I got out my Harley book and called the Clarksville dealership. They sent out a trailer and got me in to the dealership.
After a couple of hours (Jerry, thanks for the Ashton
, it gave me something to do, while I paced around like an expectant father to be, and it was a great smoke
) they told me whatever was wrong, would take longer to fix than they had time, and there was a 3 week backlog for service , but they were cooking a hog, and I was invited for dinner (gotta love the South).
I'm screwed
I called around and found a rental truck in Nashville, 1.5 hr east, so Sunday morning I took an airport shuttle to Nashville, and picked up the truck, and drove back to Clarksville. It didnt have a ramp, nor did I, so I found a ditch and buried the a$$ end of the truck in it, then rode the bike (Whack, whack, whack, whack) into the truck. Strapped it down and off we went Since Id already been on the road for 2 weeks, I really didnt mind the air conditioned cab and air ride for the last 1200 miles of my trip.
Still havent had time to look at the bike, too busy playing with my new scores, plus my AB strop arrived while I was gone, so Ive been playing with it, and getting green stuff all over me (again !)
I had an incredible time at the Blade show, and getting to meet and hang out with everyone made it that much better.

Thanks for a great time!
