Thank you Mr. Flatlander1963.
I have received some my new professional instruments.
These photos are called "Three new Buck knives and three skins of raccoons"
One Alpha Hunter has stamp " Idaho Sponsor" ? I don`t know what does it means.
Other one has stamp "Buck Pro-line". I think it means professional series of knives.
Thanks for looking.

Great pictures! You have some really top of the line knives there and I'm sure they will serve you well.

That Mr. Flatlander is a number one great guy!

Thanks for your good words.

I searched two Alpha Hunter, one for myself and another for my friend-hunter.
Now I sit and I think what of them to give or not to give absolutely.
What is it?
Is it occurrence of greed as illnesses? :)

not greed Igor, but illness perhaps....Buck fever:D

Nice knives anywhere, but especially hard to come by in Russia. A valuable set.

Now Igor, do remember you will give a good review of the Alpha.
I personally like this model a great deal but don't think it really gets the kudos it deserves. So, Igor tell us what you think.

Btw, guys I just served as a drop off for Igors knife shopping and once he had three, I mailed them over. So I just help out a little.

Also Igor when you show your friends that AG110, what do they say? I suppose they will need to use it first to really appreciate it!!!

Anyway, really glad you got your knives in an expediated manner. Express Mail to Russia:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

My friend was shocked, he cann`t decide which is better 110 AG or Alpha Hunter for Elks undressing.
He is not fan of CPM Crusible steel like me , he only love what he is seeing.

I'm guessing they want to buy it!!!!

:)

Yes, he called me three times on my cell phone during today afternoon.
But I had got a plan to present to him one Buck knife to his birthday.
I think we will decide this question by some ways without shooting one in another. :)

Thanks to wolfdog skyhorse edbeau imafritz Plumberdv for your nice words.

What does it mean "Idaho Sponsor" on the blade of Alpha Hunter ?
Which of them is better 154CM or ATS 34?
Both are Paul Boss heat treated.

Yes Paul Bos does the HT on 154cm and ATS-34 for Buck.
They are chemically/structurely the same steel for all practical purposes. The 154cm is Crucible and American while the ATS-34 is made by Hitachi in Japan. Crucible came up with the steel and Hitachi copied it basically.

154cm/ATS-34 was the supersteel for knives prior to S30V. Both still fall into the premium steel catagory and some prefer it as it's easier to sharpen and holds its edge almost as long as S30V.

The discussion of which is better 154cm and ATS-34 is much debated but for me either will do for my purposes.

What does it mean : you da man ?
In Russian language the word - Da- means -Yes- in English.

'da' used as I used is a Southernism for the word 'the.' Commonly accepted speech in the Southern States (slang) has incorporated word modifications into everyday speech. I believe this slang is from the African American population in the south and that community's tendency to create its own dialect.

So my saying “you da man” is equivalent to “you are the man” which mean that you are a very important person. So, consider it a compliment and to mean whatever you were doing to get the comment as being an impressive activity.
