I was just looking at the new May issue for a on-line seller.
http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/e...=&SearchText=&Mode=Catalog&Brand=&PriceStart=

They had some interesting Bucks. The ones that sparked my interest were:

Buck Chipflint Folding Hunter - It looks like a 110 with Stag and a Turquoise spacer for $199.99, heck call it $200.

Buck Mastodon Ivory Duke - Mastodon Ivory on a Duke for $269.99

Buck Companion, Cadet and Ranger with Sambar Stag. Cost run from $69 to $89. The 112 Ranger with stag looks really nice and more in my price range.

There were a few other interseting knives but there even more expensive. Has anyone seen these knvies before or own one?

got to see them and handle them at the shot show
great knives look as good in hand as the picts!

The 110 with the turquoise and the flint pattern on the blade is really nice. My local feed store has one that I am saving up for. A really eye catching, striking appearance. Great design.

Another vote for the 110 chip flint pattern with turqoise inlay and stag handle. That is a straight up dandy! Here is the million dollar question would anyone use it at camp or dressing deer? Geez I don't know if I would, probably not:-)

I doubt that many would have the cojones to gut a deer with such a beautiful knife, I know that I don't. ;)

I have some Michael Prathers Painted Pony proto's. You just don't use a knice like thoes on deer.

For deer, best things going are the Cabellas AG S30V series and the Bass Pro 154CPM 110.
Now those are real work knives.:thumbup::)
