Thought I would try some satin finish fighters. One's in A2 the other is in 154 CM. Both about 12" OAL. I just posted these on my site, so you can see those and 3 or 4 other new ones – gonna hang a couple more on the site tonight after I return form one of my sheath makers.

I've kind of been all over the place with knifemaking – I have the following steels to work over the next 3-4 months; some S30V & 154 CM and some 1084, 5160, 52100 and a piece of Delbert Ealy Damascus. Next step is to do a 180 from my just completed work and get my coal forge up and running. Got anvil, hammer, tongs, cut off hardie, basic coal forge, plenty of water, Band-Aids and 2 days of lessons – time to get started….

...and another one. This one in A2

BTW - I 've started to make some changes in the website to make it easier for folks with dial-up service to use.

Bob I wish I had something original to say - WOW! Nice clean work. That first one trips every trigger for me. Knives like that are why I started doing this! :D

Like most of you , I am also favor that clip piont design - Dave said it best.....attached is a jpg of the same knife with a black linen MIcarta handle - I'll be doing more of these 'cause I enjoy them.

Robert - It is Maroon Micarta - took a little juggling with photoshop to replicate the actual color on the screen. My firts time using that color - Iike it a lot & its easier to finish black (for me).
