In a series of trades, i scored a few nice knives, satisfying (for now) my latest addiction, high quality forged (usually) traditional fixed blades.

I picked up this very sweet Jim Siska Hunter, with amazing stag, Ealy mosaic damascus blade with a classic, mean Siska grind, the F&F is flawless, Mastersmith level, though of course, he didn't forge the blade, I guess Delbert did. Gorgeous knife regardless, my first of his, and I am impressed.

Next, is a Wheeler, a long, slender fighter, forged 9" blade with presentation ironwood, his F&F is about as good as it get's, im expecting this in a few days, but based on his rep and other work, I am very anxious to see it.

Next is a hunter by MS Hendrickson, i've liked his knives, but didnt want the normal silver wire inlays, well, i found this knife, no inlays, a straightforward 5 1/4" forged hunter with drop point blade and killer stag.

I should also be getting that huge, 12" damascus Bowie from Mike Williams MS, and am VERY anxious for that to arrive in a week or 2.

All in all, its been a hectic week with so many trades going on, but the outcome was well worth it. :)

Ari, you're completely out of control! :)

Love them all, but my favorite is the Wheeler.

Dude,

When you haul 'em in they come in bunches! Holy smokes!!  Those knives right there would be an instant knife collection that anyone would envy. The long pointy Wheeler fighter is truly an elegant piece of cutlery. And that broad-bladed damascus Williams bowie is six different kinds of awesome. Mike is fast becoming one of my favorite bowie makers and I don't even own one of his knives yet.

I'm pretty sure this is a different shot of the same knife:

Congrats on some great additions to what is no doubt a terrific collection.

Cheers,

Roger

Dang, that's some tasty stag on that Hendrickson hunter! I like them all, but that one speaks to me.

WOW!!! All four are simply representative of what each of these 'masters' can produce. It's nice to have a focus, and you have a lazer lock!!!!

Congrats Ari. You had to give up something very sweet to trade for these, I'm certain.
