  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

It LOOKS like you might need a tighter press. The lines should be more defined. I get why the Machax needs to be that way. Still..way better than I could do!! Kydex takes patience and practice. Keep doing it!!

Oh, and maybe trim some of the extra material off that BK2 sheath. Just my $.02.

I really need to wrap my SOGhawk. Any suggestions/tips you discovered while making that 'head sheath?

I like that orange 11...need to order some of that.

Looking good!

sometimes its pic angle/lighting. I have taken pics of my kydex that I KNOW has defined lines...yet it doesn't show as such in pics.

This is the thick stuff. Two pieces connected by shock cord.

EDIT TO ADD: The bottom part of the front opening is flared open a bit. You have to put it in upper tip first then rotate it on till it snaps on.

looks nice Tanner...I have been thinking it over awhile now. I like how Kiah does the retention strap on his Fiskar covers.

How's that shockcord's retention under heavy handling?

example from today...good lines...yet the OD dont show it on pics well

It's pretty new, but it's quality shock cord. Get it from supplycaptain. Very useful stuff to have on hand...about as useful as paracord. I need to get some more.

BTW...I didn't do that kydex, my friend from the knife store did. Charged me good for it too. Oh well, I gotta throw him a bone once in a while for all the knives I buy on Amazon. He needs to find a distributer with a more reasonable profit margin.
