Some new leather for the BK2...

First off, no....I have not dissapeared . I know, I know, Ive been lacking in my posts lately. With planning a move to Duluth in a couple of months, getting setup for kydex, and acquiring some new shop equipment (i.e. 7x12 mini metal lathe), hasn't left much time for the interwebz. Doesnt mean I havent been slicin' and stitchin' cow skins though

Great stuff as usual Goose !!! Now some questions, don't get mad please, i am asking because i don't know: What is the leather lacing on the back for ? Is it for horizontal carry, as well as holding the pouch on ? Or is it just a different style to hold the pouch on ? I like it, makes it look old but elegant but i was just wondering bout that stuff.
