Just finished this one for a customer. The pouch fits an altoids tin, and has a 3/8" firesteel loop.

Thanks for looking!

Wow goose. Looks amazing! I so cant wait for my bk11 sheath. I'm camping by the mailbox right now. Its a little chilly but worth the wait.....nice work

Very very cool. This is what I hope to achieve one day.

I finally got some leather and started working with it today, ended up throwing two attempts away. Will start number 3 tomorrow.

in all honesty I'm not into scout sheaths 'AT ALL', but I have to say that thing looks awesome !!! and who doesn't like altoids?? :)

Very clean work. I happen to LOVE scout style carry!
I fancy myself a sheath maker, but your sheath is beyond my skill as of right now...great all around!

Did you really have to post this the same day I ordered a BK9? LOL!

Top notch work.

Looks amazing. I'm surprised to see that people would carry a 9 scout-style. I'd think it'd be kinda big for that.

Gorgeous work yet again Goose. Just plain gorgeous.

I have always admired how nicely made your leather is but they have always been too square for my liking.

This one blows me away. Amazing.

Not bad, not bad...... ;)

Is that sinew or are you using something else now?

Thanks guys!

Keep it up man, its a very rewarding hobby.

Yeah some of my Becker sheaths are a bit square'sh. Part of it is functionality. The Modular Sheaths need to be square ended to allow any of accessories to be added, and I designed the BK11/14 sheaths to be square ended to allow the maximum size belt loop to be fitted to the back. Any contours to the blade would not allow for a decent sized belt loop at all. The other reason is that I like to incorporate design features of the knife into the sheath I am making. Becker knives have sharp, straight, and clean lines on portions of the blade. I believe incorporating these straight lines and angles into my sheaths give them a solid/heavy duty look and feel to them. Which on top of that, they really are. I build these sheaths to withstand just about anything you could throw at them, all while giving the knife a touch of class and nostalgia.

Ive been using waxed nylon thread for quite some time now.
