Some new model hints at Shot show

Looking at the clip area, it looks like a zaan for sure. Curious what they are doing to it. Part of me wonders if it's a blade shape change/addition

Courtney is throwing a swerve. It's not a 'Zaan. Supposedly, rumor has it, that it's a Mnandi with a 'Zaan style blade.

That sounds...not appealing to me.

I've seen some say that Tim has been playing with a new Impinda mechanism for a while, I would think that would be more likely than a small Zaan or a hard-use Mnandi.

Oh please be a large Mnandi. Haha.

Maybe they could work on the ergos and quality control a bit. I recently got a Pacific where the "jimping" on the thumb rest and bottom of the grip is so sharp you can shave finger nail with it. Pretty sure even with tough hands if you actually had to use it for more than a couple minutes you'd shred your hands without gloves. I've handled a few Pacific's over the years that were not like this, seems they cut some corners on finishing on this one. What good is a fixed blade that destroys your hands...... CRK for me the last couple years has kind of been a bit of a disappointment dare I say it. I had two new folders a 31 and Inkosi from authorized dealers both come dull (the Pacific's jimping might be sharper than one of them!) and frankly CRK didn't seem concerned, yet the false edge on a new Frag Zaan is so sharp I think it might cut paper. They also seem to have a lost a bit of that smooth hydraulic opening feel and bank vault "thunk" when locking they used to have. There's a pretty obvious difference in these new ones compared to my OP Zaan and 25 in opening smoothness and that satisfying "thunk" when the lock bar drops.
