I'm pretty sure these reissues were made by Camillus. Tang marks check out.

They are really nice knives actually. Can't decide if I love or hate the colors. Solid well made knives, though.

Picked up these awesome scrimshaws, too.

And of course, gotta have a Christmas knife. ;)

I like the scrimshaws. I've got a couple of those Schrade scrimshaws myself.
I was watching a film the other night 'The Silence of the Lambs' and Lecter
uses a Schrade scrimshaw taken from the guard who's face he skinned.

Good film...Good knife.

I have one of those Camillus made Remington stockmans. The color is atrocious but it's basically the same knife as the Cold Steel large stockman, only with rounded bolsters. Love that Carbon V steel.

Who made the Swing guard? I cant make it out. Those Schrades are some beauties.

It's hard to see the tang on the SG (I need to figure out how to take better pics)...there's two bulldogs fightin' on there. ;)

Thanks guys. The Red/Yellow....like I said, I waffle, but I usually dig it. And I like knifes that are easily found if dropped. And they are beasts.

The scrimshaw's...one of my favorite patterns and pictures of fish? :D

Thanks for the reply, thats what I was thinking. I got few of the BD Swing guards myself.

I realy like those Scrimshaws.

Im not too sure whether I like the colour of the Remingtons...but everytime I go back to the photo..I look harder, and longer at them,I think they would grow on you!
What year are the Remingtons? I note you say reissues, can you help me out on that please...does this mean that they were made from Remington spares, by Camillus?
Thanks for the photos....its always great going through peoples latest buys!

I dig the scrimshaws, too. I'm not totally sure about the date of the Remingtons. I believe early 90's. I have tried to find out about them, but there isn't a lot of info out there or I am looking in the wrong place. Anyone else know? I believe they were made by Camillus as reissues of the old Remington patterns and sold by Remington. My understanding is that a lot of people collected them and then Remington flooded the market and pissed a lot of collectors off. You can get them for pretty cheap and they are solid knives. The colors? I call them my Ronald McDonald knives. :)
