Sweet! I didn't know the 27 came with a stippled frame. Or did you do that? I remember old timers doing that with the first G17's...

I have a G19 and G23, which is good as they can share the same holsters, but I love your 21 and 27, and the 34 is awesome.

Love the Gen 3s but hate the finger grooves. Grind em off and stipple the frames for better gripping when wet.

I don't like stippling much (no offense to the OP, just a preference). What I did was file those finger grooves off and smooth the frame in those areas, and then apply some skateboard tape. Very sure grip, and IMO looks better.

That is a good alternative that minimizes damage to the frame. I'm looking for skateboard tape that really adheres well in the wet environs up here. I just wish Glock would drop the finger grooves altogether but . . .

I like using the 3M skateboard tape. This tape hangs on tough. The stippling on my 27 was an experiment.

My 21SF has grip tape on it. I replaced the original checkered portions of the 21 with 3M grip/skateboard tape.

On the subject of grips... love my gen 3 G17 but took a small 3-cornered file to knock down the "sharp" on some of the checkering. Mo' betta.

Grip tape chews up your hide carrying IWB! Brook's Tactical A-Grip works MUCH better for me and doesn't eat my car's doorpanels on roadtrips, either. I've been using it on my G21 for years.
