These are some recent knives.

1 - Integral D2 Kitchen knife Milled down from solid block with African blackwood stand

2 - Hunter forged from 52100 with Tamboetie handle and Dremmelled brass guard

3 - Scarab. Just for funsys

Man, I like that hunter. I've been toying around with texturing and checkering a bit myself, and I know how hard a time I've had trying to do just enough to make things pop but not so much as to distract the eye from the overall aesthetic. Very well balanced visually!

I don't mean to pry into your methods, but my curiousity gets the better of me now and again. Have you lightened the handle on the chef's knife in any way? (drilling, milling it out) or is it a solid chunk of steel?
 
Has anyone told you lately that you do some really beautiful work?

Love the hunter and that Tamboetie is eye popping!
 
Holy crap man... that D2 kitchen knife is wicked. I bet it feels very nimble with that much weight in the hand.
