A new "Texas Mosaic" Bowie...

Mosaic damascus, stainless hardware with light Burl SPacer and Desert Ironwood burl.

Gent's Bowie in satin finished 5160 with "antiqued" oval guard and pommel (both fullered), African Blackwood throat, brass spacer and, Desert Ioronwood Burl handle.

That top one is just incredible. Do you, or anyone else reading this, have a link to how that damascus would be made and turned into a blade? I'd think you'd have to create those shapes full depth or at least deep enough to allow for the bevel. Absolutely too cool for words. The rest of the knife is great, but the steel is what makes it unique to me.
 
Hey Remyrw, yet the shapes fo rthe state and stars are cut out of steel squares, switched to give contrast and forge welded to make it one solid piece, then it's standard mosaic work.
