Okay, I promise not to creep anybody out by referring to my knives as my children.

Chris Kravitt of Treestump Leather was one of the presenters at the Northeast Hammer-In in Vermont this past August. I had brought along the knives I made at Dan Farr's forge and shop for show an tell. I had made a sheath for the hunter, but the bowie was bare. I was very impressed with the samples of Chris' work that I saw on display and initially left him with the bowie to make a custom sheath. As it turned out, one of his display samples perfectly fit the hunter, so I decided to make it a matched set.

Only problem now is that the first rate quality sheaths somewhat overpromise their contents.

Nice work Chris!

I think the knives you made are really cool, but wish that you stop being self deprecating about them. I would buy one from you if you made it like your big camp knife, alright?

Used to use Chris for my sheaths......but Kenny Rowe has become my go to guy for over 2 years now. He sets the benchmark for professionalism.

Best Regards,

Great looking sheaths, too.

In spite of the fact that you are creeping me out....

Considering the company I keep, you aren't creeping me out! I wish I could have seen your knives in person, they look FANTASTIC from the pics. The sheaths are gorgeous too.
