Here's some new toys I picked up this week. PTR-91, Para Ordnance P13-45 Limited, and a Gladius.

Great taste in toys:eek::thumbup:
Looks like the black and green G10 with sage coating?

Nice toys i've got an HK-91 just like your PTR. But you may want to get a straight stock because that collapsible stock will beat you up in long term shooting.
The PTR's do shoot pretty well though. Nice score looks like your good to go. :thumbup:

Very, very nice! Very good taste! Though I'd prefer FN Fal and its civilian versions over H&K G3 series and its civilian versions.

The stock is from a prior PTR I owned and removed when I traded for this slightly different configuration. Put a few hundred rounds down range with it on, does make your shoulder bleed with the hard rubber meat tenderizer tiny butt plate but it doesn't bother me.

Although it does weigh slightly more you have a much more compact package to carry around and that is a plus for me. I could get used to the shoulder thing since you run into that same issue with a shotgun when shooting all day. It is something you can get aclimated to.

Will you be staying with the stock sights and no rail on the receiver or in place of the handgaurd?

I like shooting iron sights when they are good and they are great on PTR's and HK's. I fumbled around with a claw mount on my previous PTR and was planning to do a good scope on it. Its more of a chin weld than a cheak weld when using red dots on the claw mounts. Not practical.

I'd like to get another and do one of the high cheak weld Magpul stocks, a really low pic rail, and a good scope. This setup suits my needs best at the moment.

I love iron sights but the V rear and the square front post just doesn't seem to work for me.

I saw a pic of someone's 91 with a rail mounted directly on the receiver and a scope. It looked like it would work well. I agree the HK claw mount is nothing more than an investment.
