Guess I'm in a Crawford/Kasper/Polkowski sort of mood.....

Thanks for indulging me.....

Now, Tex, you know you're my idol and all!!!

I mean, in 2.5 years (but who's counting?) I plan on joining you in retiring from the service of Uncle Sam.

'Course, it may put a crimp in my ability to purchase fine new knives, but then I can always eat cat food.

Beautiful! And each a major handful. My eyes are tiring at day's end--that must be Damascus on the Crawford, but it doesn't look like any pattern I've seen before.

Nice pick up Blues!

I'm told it's Devin Thomas stainless damascus. I guess a raindrop pattern.

My friend who I purchased it from didn't have more info so I'll try to find out from Pat and Wes.

Blues,
Looks like Thomas stainless raindrop if I am not mistaken. (that happens sometimes

Nice pickup, Blues.

Like the Polkowski, reminds me of a fixed blade Spyderco Native.

And what can you say about the Crawford/Kasper custom....nice!!!

Beautiful, bro!

I know it sounds redundant, since your toys generally are beauties, but these are among my favorites.

naming that blade steel "raindrop pattern" was an inspired piece of knife poetry on somebody's part.

Blues, the way you buy knives, I doubt that you will retire anytime soon. roflmao I'm going right now to buy a lottery ticket.

I just sold a beautiful large Kasper that had some Devon Thomas damascus in a spirograph pattern. Of course this didn't leave me empty handed as I still have two of those Kaspers left, in fact one is on weekly rotation with a Boguszewski Wegner model. Love those Kaspers and Wegners!!!

just might throw a Chamblin in the rotation soon!
