I didn't find the previous thread looking for some pens for a gift so, I had to start a new .... :o

I received my package from Swisher Pens and I'm really happy with my purchase. It was relatively cheap, fast, efficient, and had great pens in it! :)

I got some Pelikan Ball Points that were $17.50 each. These are some of the best under $20 pens you can buy. The length is pretty standard, the barrel diameter is a little larger then normal, and the barrel has three "flats" to keep it from rolling off a table. It fits my hand very well. It has the right amount of "heft" and the contour of the barrel is much easier on my hand then a typical disposable ballpoint pen. It uses a standard Parker refill.

 A great choice for an under $20 pen.

I also got a Sensa pen which has the "gel" grip. Another great ergonomic pen for $15.00. For a college student that takes a ton of handwritten notes or anyone that has issues with hand pain or grip strength, consider one of these pens. I should note that the twist cap of the models I have are a little slick and slightly hard to turn but, I find I leave the pen "deployed" on my desk and just pick it up and start writing.

 Another good choice.

At the time I ordered, Swisher Pens had free shipping. Overall, I got a great bargain. Their website is a little obtuse to navigate but, it's worth the effort! :)

Just wiondering where did you get the Pelikan for under $20? I see them out there for much higher.

I'm still experimenting with what sort of pen I like (similar to what I did many years ago while determining what sort of knife I like) but I have found http://isellpens.com/ to be a great site with some great prices.

/N.B. I have no affiliation with aforementioned site
