Thought I'd share some recent work and pics with ya guys:
My shop assistant Dani, I call her Dani the Huntress, went turkey hunting with her dad right before Thanksgiving in AZ. No frozen/defrosted turkey at their house:
Horsewright Sonoran Hunter in Slot and Loop sheath on a Horsewright Water Buffalo belt with pink stitching:
Speaking of pink. We helped our daughter in law build these for a friend of hers baby's first birthday:
Made this pair for this young cowboy. They are batwing chaps now and as he grows I'll cut fringe on the bottom and sides and they'll become chinks. Did this for my son when he was little and it worked very well.
My son Logan many years ago with his first pair of leggings I made him. Already had cut the fringe on this pair as he grew. He started riding by himself when he was two and has been at it ever since.
Five or six years ago as Cowboss on a place in OR wearing another pair of chinks we made him. He's only ever had two pair we didn't make him:
He now cowboys on The Diamond A in northern AZ. This ranch at 770,000 acres is 10,000 acres bigger than the state of RI! Here's his current leggings taking a break recently. We made the headstall (holds the bit in the horse's mouth) too. He has eight horses in his string and everything is done horseback on this outfit, which really suits him.
Following our turquoise theme (Logan's fringe), Nichole made herself a new holster for her Colt Mustang:
She mixed up the leather paint to match the thread color using white, green and blue. Well I'll add a little bit more later. Questions and comments welcome.
