Learning by trial and error. :D I have some left over vege tan leather from making 8 Indian plains style arrow quivers as Christmas presents for 4 grandkids and 4 son in laws so thought I would attempt to make some knife sheaths. First few attempts were sloppy but I'm learning and this last one came out satisfactory, (for me anyway). Not real refined but knife fits snug and it rides comfortably on the belt.
I will say it's a fun and learning experience, but took part of my day yesterday and most of the day today to complete, won't be quitting my day job anytime soon. :)

Pretty darn good for an amateur partner. I assume the items in the second photo are quivers? I have not seen a design quite like them.

Thanks, Randy, I appreciate the compliment.
Yes, those are arrow quivers in the pic., modeled after plain Indian style. Strap goes over opposite shoulder and quiver hangs at hip or slightly lower and rest across the side of (or) in front of your body as preferred. Of the 8 quivers pictured, 4 are for left handers & 4 for right handed shooters.

Nice work!

Thanks, Dave, I appreciate the compliment sir.
BTW: I'm always taking a look at the work that you and your wife post, truly beautiful and finely crafted leatherwork. I'm especially impressed by the tooling you do. Not something I expect to be attempting but sure is nice to look at and admire when done by a pro.

Thanks for the kind words.
