Hey guys, here is a teaser picture of some of my traditional folders. Will try to post more detailed photos tomorrow. Thanks!

Nice collection!

Which one is the knife on the bottom? I like the jigging and the colour.

Kind regards
Andi

Thanks! The knife on the bottom is a 2 bladed Imperial made in RI USA. The Scales and bolsters are one piece and clipped on instead of pinned in place (pins are fake). The springs have good snap to them and the stainless blades are taking a good edge. So aside from the fake scales and bolster it seems to be a descent knife. :)

I'll get some more pictures after it gets warmer outside.

Thanks for info. I´m looking forward seeing more from your knives! Thanks for sharing! :) :)

Kind regards

I have a few. They are surprisingly good knives.

Glad to hear it. :) Went on a hike Sunday to test out my new pack and play with some of my traditional knives. Only managed to get pictures of the Imperial and here they are:

Nice looking little collection :). I think I am up to around 5 or 6 traditionals :)

Thanks! I think I have 9 folders and at least 8 fixed blades, assuming that the Buck 1xx series count. ;)

Thats a nice collection you have there, in a month or two I wouldn't be suprised if it has doubled or tripled. These knives ( especially the traditional ones ) are an addiction that can't hardly be overcome.

Of course they count! Most of the 'traditional' companies make a lockback hunter, right? Why not the most popular of them all?

I have a 110, got a 103 in trade last week and am doing a trade now for a 119. Glad to know they are okay to post. Figure my collection of old (40's to 60's) Western brand hunting knives are okay too.

I got most of those knives in trade 2 years ago. The Yellow handled CV Case Stockman that wasn't shown, I bought last Febuary. Used to EDC either me Red Sod Buster Jr. or a Camillus Premium Stockman till I got the CV Case. That sheeps foot blade was my leather cutting knife for a year, till I turned a 3" Old Hickory pairing knife into a sheeps foot leather knife. . . . So far I've done a descent job at not allowing my folder collection to explode. Old Western Hunting knives are what I would collect if I collected knives. ;) Think I have 8 Westerns right now.

By the way, does anyone know what pattern my Imperial is or possibly a model number?

No idea what the imperial is
but here is a pic of the 119 he is trading for

yay knife porn!

Ryan, thanks for posting that picture. It's very cool!!

ooh i like the red soddie...

Thanks, so do I. I made a clip on slip case for it and keep the knife next to my keyboard. It gets used Frequently to clean my nails and cut thread when I'm sewing leather sheaths. It was my whittling knife when hiked Mount Nebo in Central Utah 2 fall's ago.
