Most cold steel knives I do not think are ascetically pleasing, but there are a few exceptions. They do not look bad but do not look pretty, usually just very utilitarian looking. This is not a bad thing as I do find their knives to be extremely well built. They have strength and come with a good edge and are built with one purpose in mind, abuse.
