That's the only picture I've seen that actually compares the different almite textures used on the Ayoob. Nice pictures.:thumbup:
 
I'm lovin the SE Calypso too. I've got one and it's a sweet knife.
 
Now I know why I'm having a hard time finding a Blue PE Lum Chinese folder.

Do they come in colors other than blue....hehe.. I recently got lucky and bought these all at one time. I had to take a picture of them for austerity because I likely won't be keeping all seven.

I've reserved two of them for a well known spyderholic. I have another up for trade in the exchange.

What makes a Lum folder "Chinese"?
Is that a traditional Chinese blade or handle shape or something?

It is. Bob Lum is Chinese, I think, and he originally did that design as an update of a traditional pattern. Tonyccw has a bunch of lum pics on his site.
 
I just picked up another Black G-10 Lum Tanto today. I was surprised to see that the blade was VG-10. I thought they were all ATS-55. Learn something new everyday.

A very small portion of them were VG-10. That's definitely one for the collection right there.
 
Scott - you never fail to impress me on your spydie knowledge. I wish I knew half as much. Anyways, I really like all the Lums. To me the lum tanto folder is just much better put together than, say, the Starmate even though the Terzuola get's more publicity it seems.

Nah, I don't know half as much as others do, but when it's something that interests me(like Spyders) I tend to absorb these little bits of information like a sponge. Most of the stuff I know is simply regurgitated info. Can't really claim credit for it.
