Even though I make knives, I still have a soft spot for the knives that got me interested in knives many years ago, Buck Knives. I still think, even after about 40 years of collecting, that these are the best factory knives on the market. Here are some photos of my collection.

I like Buck knives too. I grew up with a 110 as my go to knife. I lost it years ago, so I bought another! Sold it to a buddy who admired it, then bought another for myself again. Just couldn't be without one, I guess. Great knife. I own a pile of knives and yet sometimes the most basic of them pulls the most weight.
Thanks for sharing your collection, John.

Nice collection 'Ol Bud  I agree that Buck makes some really good knives for the Money !

Hi Stomper -

I also really started with Buck - back when I was in high school I had a 110, and that model remains one of my favorite knife designs.

I now have more Case than anything else - mostly trappers.

I recently bought a Buck Sirus to give to a friend for Christmas, and I liked it so much I just got me one.

Thanks for the pics!

best regards -

I`ve only got two Case knives left, a big 2 blade folding hunter and a Moose. I`ve still got a lot of old Schrades though!

nice Buck knives John... i have that same little hatchet... i got from my Dad for Christmas one year, when i was 12 i think...

I like Buck knives quite a bit. My Brother picked this one up for me for my birthday this past October. Now I'm looking at grabbing a nickel bolster 110 with walnut from the custom shop. Anyone have any custom 110 posts 'em please. I drool over those lately.
I'm also looking to buy a Cattaraugus Cutlery knife but can't find one. That factory was right out near my place.
Yeah this knife hobby is addictive.

The only Buck I own is a simple Juno lockback. Just a Walmart knife, nothing fancy or spectacular. 'Cept it is priceless to me, a father's day gift to me from my son when he was about seven years old. It is my " glovebox knife".

I'll sell off every JK I own before that Juno.:eek:;):D

Love them .45`s! I`m thinking of trying to make some custom grips for them soon.

That could be cool John. A pair of those grips in that green or similar micarta would be nice. G10 would work too.

Nice! I have yet to take the plunge for a custom 110.
I end up spending all my loot on your stuff!

I did get a finger-grooved 110 rebladed with ATS-34.

I also have a rebladed plain handle in BG-42 somewhere.

My first real knife was a Buck Cadet. Still have it.

My favorite Buck design is the 119, overall.

It would really be cool to have a Vanguard in 01. What is the top large fixed blade? That one doesn't ring any bells.
