I am not good taking knife photo's. I am more nature orientated person. Initial picture was horribly over exposed and I was too lazy to actually re-arrange picture again. I had forgotten camera on manual instead close up settings. So I decided to play image with Paint.net program. :

Anyway, these are my current favorite traditionals. The picture is... quite artistic so if you feel excuse me. Knives from left to right:

GEC Northfield 250109 Burnt Stag, Rough Rider Gunstock Canoe, Queen small Dan Burke Barlow, Rough Rider gunstock Copperhead, GEC Tidioute 721110 Beaver Tail Jigged Bocote, GEC Northfield 735109L Texas Yellow Rose and Opinel #8 Carbon.

The photo came out fine! It reminds me of an old instant Polaroid photo for some reason. Anyways, this is first I have seen of peachseed jigged wood on the GEC. Looks good! I like the checkering on the two RR which probably why they are referred to as gunstock (not to be confused with a gunstock shaped patttern).

Luciano: Yes, I believe because of checkering they are referred as gunstock. Gunstock Rough Rider's seem to be have excellent finish. There's no gaps or blade play either of gunstock series knives. Both gunstocks were either gifted to me or I got them via trade. I am impressed by those and see if there's any interesting pattern in gunstock by Rough Rider.

Yep, those are nice knives all. And, yes, the picture is pretty crappy. I'll bet those knives would be really sweet in a good photo. You need to work on that Jani. That small Barlow isn't really that small, is it?

Jani!!
Awesome knives!!
Whats your opinion on the GEC's? are they made well once you get close to one?
Cheers,
Duncan

Looks like an atom bomb exploded in the background as you were taking this picture. :D
Gotta love that Dan Burke Barlow!

i'm not a photographer so i can't really comment on the pic but i can see that jani is a man of refined taste.

Good one Dennis! I thought maybe you were too close to Chernobyl, Jani. Then again, radioactive knives might be the "New Thing!"

Comprehensive selection there:thumbup:

I rather like the Magic Mushroom Acid Trip look, that Texas Yellow comes out as Lime Green:D

Here's how they should look like and do in real life:

You guys might be able to spot my food prepping knife among these ones... Shouldn't be too hard :D
